Trusted Partners

I do most all work by hand. Being fairly tech savvy, I make use of new technologies when appropriate. My aim is to be as efficient and cost effective as possible. I do my own research and writing, campaign design and development, and most graphic design. With many years of hands-on experience, I bring that mindset and those experiences to bear for my nonprofit clients. My work is documented and saved in the cloud, and often, I use cloud platforms to work collaboratively from remote locations. While based in Central Texas, I work across Texas and beyond.

Having said that, there are a few trusted partners I recommend.

A good friend of some 30 years, historian and nonprofit fundraising professional Toni Turner has her own firm, Non Profit Solutions Consultants. If you need more than one experienced hand, consider us both. We’d love to team up.

A trustworthy accountant can make a world of difference in running a successful, professional nonprofit organization. They can also solve (and troubleshoot) problems. My personal and corporate accounting has been handled by the all-woman firm Hahn & Oldham, P.C. of Kingsville, Texas for almost 20 years. As a great deal of work today is done online, they can help you literally from any location, and they will travel as needed. The firm is affiliated with The Kleberg Bank, and they are trustworthy and exceptionally professional.

My one-person company was formed in 2007 by Gary Thomasson Hall & Marks, PC of Corpus Christi, Texas. In Central Texas, I know I can count on Steve Fleckman.

I am an advocate for the software company, Bloomerang. With an emphasis on donor retention, “We believe in the value of life with a mission, and we applaud the choices nonprofit organizations make to improve the world. We exist because they exist. We take great pleasure in creating tools and teaching principles that help passionate nonprofit organizations make smart decisions that are proven to help them reach out, grow and thrive.” To read blog posts produced by me for Bloomerang follow this link.

I have used several other companies and their products over the years with great success. Carolyn’s Nonprofit Blog shares many of those experiences, and I urge you to visit.
